Follow appropriate bag technique
Put on personal protective equipment following CDC guidelines: hand hygiene first, then gown, mask, eye protection, and gloves. Explain to patients that these measures protect both of you.

Implement No-Touch Documentation
Position your device where it can clearly capture the conversation while minimizing the need to touch it during the assessment. If you need to move as part of the assessment remember to complete appropriate infection protocols.

Sanitize Equipment
Clean your Automynd CoPilot device with approved disinfectant wipes before leaving the home. Consider using a protective cover that can be disposed of after the visit.
Common Questions Answered
What is the maximum length I can transcribe?
You can transcribe for as long as 3 hours.
My transcription was paused abruptly. Why did this happen?
Transcription may be impacted if you use your device for phone calls or other apps that use video or audio resources simultaneously.
Sometimes we can't verbalize everything. How do we provide more data?
In these scenarios, please use the "Narrative/Context" tab to provide a post-visit recap.
What should I do when there is no internet in the patient's home?
AutoMynd offers an offline mode that allows users to capture recordings and pictures that can be synced once internet connection is restored. Please check our product training video for more details.
I don't see Drive mode or Martha option in my Copilot.
This is an add-on feature. If your organization has opted in, this feature will show on the patient details card. Please contact your administrator to confirm if these features are subscribed to.
What equipment is a must-have for using AutoMynd effectively?
A company issued devismartphone with the AutoMynd app installed is the primary requirement. For optimal performance, ensure your device has sufficient storage space and battery life for longer visits.
How can I ensure the best audio quality for transcription?
Position your device within 3-6 feet of the conversation, minimize background noise, and avoid covering the microphone during recording.
Can I edit the transcription after the visit?
Yes, you can review and edit the transcription after the visit is completed to ensure accuracy before submitting it to our AI models and finalizing your documentation.
Do I need patient consent to transcribe our conversation?
Yes. At the start of every visit, Copilot presents a consent form. You must obtain a digital signature from the patient (or caregiver) before transcription can begin. This is a hard stop—if the patient does not consent, Copilot will not record or transcribe. You can still proceed with the visit and chart manually without transcription.
